New g1 moon
There is a new moon in g1. Unfortunately, it is not mine, but fortunately, it is still a new UPF moon. Ornree and I exchanged moon shots today and came up 1 for 2. He got the 1 and I struck out, but at least all went smooth with recycling.
Anyone else interested in a moon shot in g1 or g2?

I am interested in a moon shot in G2. [2:206:10] [2:184:10]
I read moonshot rules, and how do you deal with derbis ?
For example,You attack Ornree with 720 LFs and recycle derbis few mins later, and Ornree also do the same process to you, right ?
I didn't have a moon before , so I get confused with rules now.
Thank you a lot !

Re: New g1 moon
To deal with debri:
If Player A is higher rank than Player B, then Player A can not gain more than what was lost in the Fleet Exchange. It is deemed pushing if otherwise.
Player A can recycle his own debri field, or the debri field of player B, of equal size, but not both. It is deemed pushing if otherwise.
Player A gets a moon, Player A recyclers the debri field, and Player B does not get a moon, and Player B recycles that debri field. Thats ok! a Moon has no calculatory value towards your score. And Thus is not considered pushing.
Player A uses Light Fighters, Player B uses Battleships. Fine, just be sure that Player A does not gain more RESOURCE Value than what was used!
I believe players has 24-48 hours to conduct the exchange. Always safer to have the bigger player hit the lower player first, to avoid suspicions of pushing early on.

Lots of info, but seemed confusing. What Ornree and I did was the attacked player recylced the debris field. You send your recyclers away just before (e.g. 2 min) and return them so they get there shortly after the hit then recycle. Was my first time, but fortunately Ornree had plenty of experience at it. 715LF's or 48BS...either will work. in our case, Ornree used 700LF + 15LC and I used 48BS...either will work, but apparenlty in this case the BS were luckier. :-)
I'm at 2:121:7....where is your g2 world?
I have all the necessary BS and recyclers...unfortunately, they are all in g1, but I have plenty of deut to move them.
Do you need some time to make ships and/or defense?

...that should read... "Ornree used 700LF + 15LC" (but 715LF's is fine)

Re: New g1 moon
Thanks for explanation ,Armedall0 and dnar.
Now I understand the rule clearly.
Here is my planet in G2 , position [2:184:10]
Defense: RL 600 LL 450 HL 40 GC 30 IC none PT 11 SS 1 LS 1
Tech: 11 10 10
I will use 48 BS to attack you ,and recycle the derbis.
It takes time producing ships. When I am ready , I will send PM to you.

Re: New g1 moon
My g2 colony is at 2:121:7. It has plenty of defense already,, but I will have to get the ships there. I plan on seeing how much deut it would cost me...if too much, I may just build more. I'm in no rush though, so just let me know whenever you are ready. Weekends are better for me if that is OK with you, but I can do it in the evenings after 6pm PST.
If I recall correctly, you are near China, so there is a major time difference. We may need to negotiate the time, which really makes weekends better.
